He went to China for the first time in 1995 to lead a French delegation on the occasion of the Interpol's Congress in Beijing. He became a specialist in ancient inventions and discoveries, as well as in Chinese Art and visited many provincial museums. Recently, he has offered his experience as an investigator to serve APACE's mission and purpose. He estimated necessary to establish a strong link between Chinese Archeological services and Chinese specialised Police services in order to allow APACE to better represent China in the recovery of National Treasures lost oversees, the condemnation of raiders and their accomplice and the breaking up of looting networks.
APACE wishes to sincerely thank Mr. Guimezanes for his collaboration to the protection and the defence of China's cultural heritage.
