
On October 24, 2007 APACE participated in the inauguration of the first Spanish Real Estate Office in the city of Xi'an, China. The newly created business is the result of the investment and hard works of an alliance of four Spanish companies with the participation of APACE President Bernard Gomez and a Chinese local Partner, Ms. Lin. The company has been assessed by USHA CHINA, a representative office created through the association of two Spanish companies: AGM Abogados and USHA Spain.
Several members of the Chinese authorities of Shaanxi Province assisted to the inauguration ceremony. Were also present the partners, as well as a delegation of APACE and USHA CHINA teams who travelled to China for the occasion, without forgetting several business representatives of the Real Estate sector.
The company ‘‘Gaodi Home'' will dedicate itself to intermediation in the Real Estate sector. It was build up to respond to the needs created by strong expansion in the region.
In fact, following the approval of the last five-year economic plan by the Chinese government, an important economic growth is predicted in Shaanxi P rovince, especially in the city of Xi'an. The number of businesses is expected to multiply quickly which will evidently increase demand for housing and office space. Gaodi Home will provide a team of professional Real Estate agents that will be able to respond efficiently to the new demand.
Gaodi will start by opening four or five offices of its own, but is aimed at becoming a franchise network that would expand all over China and even beyond.
The local Director of Gaodi Home, Mr. Jose Manuel Garcia, is a Spanish entrepreneur with more than 9 years of experience in the sector who has decided to relocate to China with his family to lead the project.
The inauguration of the first office of Gaodi represents a new step in a series of projects on the agenda of APACE to strengthen relations between China and Europe.
